"3 Acts of Murder" Exhibit in the WA State Library - 1 Comment

To celebrate the screening of the true story telemovie 3 Acts of Murder, a special exhibit will be presented at the State Library in the Perth Cultural Centre. Visit the Library from Friday June 5, 2009 to view archival materials from the 1920s and 1930s about the murders and for a behind the scenes look at 3 Acts of Murder and the filmmaking process.

Producers Taylor Media utilized the State Library to research the Snowy Rowles murders, drawing on the archival photos and original clippings from the West Australian Newspaper to recreate this true story. Archival and production photos, props and some of the original newspaper clippings from the 1920s will be on display.

A grim tale! A pity it did not receive more publicity prior to viewing on TV. A great script by Ian David.
I am heading to Battye Library to see the exhibition.
