In search of the perfect murder plot - 5 Comments
"The plot of a new novel was rushing into shape. My murderer should destroy the body of his victim in the way given; and then Bony should get to ‘work, and prove - ! But what could he prove? What could he prove if there was not a particle of the body remaining for him to exhibit before a judge and jury, who require the production of a body, or identifiable parts of a body, before they will listen to a charge of murder."
Arthur Upfield in "The Murchison Murders", a booklet he wrote in 1934 reproduced in Up & Down the Real Australia published by Lulu.com, 2009

There's a great scene in Lolita where Humbert is sitting on the bed with a gun is in search of the 'perfect murder' plan to kill his wife.

The "Boney" spelling was used in the Norfolk International (Fauna Productions) series of 1972-73, but it was the original "Bony" in the & Network series in the 1990 starring Cameron Daddo.

The proper spelling is Bony but as Kees wrote the Boney spelling was used in the 1972-3 TV series to avoid mispronounciation.
